Diane Romaine, DMD
Dr Romaine is a credentialed Master Dentist, in the Academy of General Dentistry and has practiced in Frostburg, Maryland since 1995. She and her staff are dedicated to providing comprehensive dental care with the most current dental technologies, combined with years of experience and attention to the concerns of our patients. Dr Romaine is committed to helping each patient achieve a life time of oral and overall health by listening, teaching and creating a workable plan to suite their needs.

Dr. Romaine is President of the Maryland State Dental Association Foundation, Past President of the Maryland State Dental Association and the Allegany-Garrett Dental Society. Locally she serves on the board of AHEC West and Western Maryland Health Systems Community Advisory Board. Dr. Romaine is committed to expanding access to dental care in Western Maryland and throughout the state. These efforts led her to establish the first ongoing, Mission of Mercy free dental clinic in Maryland in 2010 which serves the under insured and those with dental needs whom otherwise would not be able to afford care.
Dr. Romaine was recognized by her colleagues as a Fellow in the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. Fellows of the College have records of leadership, excellence, and meritorious achievement in dentistry and public service. In 2013 Dr. Romaine received the Jane A. Fiscus, M.D. Community Health Leadership Award for her courage, creativity and demonstrated commitment to improve the health and well-being of the citizens of Allegany County and the surrounding area. In 2015 the Maryland Rural Health Practitioner of the Year award was presented to Dr. Romaine for her leadership, dedication to interdisciplinary education, compassion toward those in need, and her commitment to improve health throughout Western Maryland and the entire state.
